Integrity Healthcare of Cobden is filled with very special people and it takes more special people to provide their care.  The facility specializes in behavioral health services, providing skilled services for long and short term stays and providing respite care for short times. The facility has a special contract with the Veterans Administration to provide care to our veterans and they are certified by Medicare and by Medicaid.

Gayle Yates has worked in long term care for four decades and she has been a licensed administrator for 16 of those years. Gayle’s past experiences as an Activities Director, Social Service Director, CNA Supervisor, Office Manager and Assistant Administrator certainly perfects her abilities to lead her team of care givers.

Integrity Healthcare of Cobden, a behavioral health facility,  is located on the south side of this small agriculture based community. Known for the Cobden Appleknockers and an annual Peach Festival, Cobden also sits in the heart of the Shawnee Hills Wine Trail. Families that live in and around Cobden know each other and when somebody needs help, they all join together to provide that needed assistance. The same ‘family spirit’ is enjoyed within the walls of this facility. Staff are all local people who reach out to make certain that the facility’s residents become a part of that big family.  They provide Care You Can Trust.

Dietary Manager, Marilyn Smith, has worked at Integrity Healthcare of Cobden for over 30 years! She obviously loves what she does, and she does her job very well!  Marilyn has a long-time compassion for the residents and she spends time interacting with them during mealtime. She knows each one very well, and she is dedicated to fulfilling their special requests. She makes certain she has hot sauce on the table for some; she happily provides hot chocolate, bananas, ice cream and peanut butter sandwiches.

Marilyn has a daughter and 2 sons who have blessed her with 9 grandchildren! She enjoys spending time with her family, especially watching grandchildren play sports. She has always been an avid horseback rider.

The dining room at Integrity Healthcare of Cobden is always decorated for the seasons. Marilyn shares her talents in getting that job done!  She is happy to be a part of the Integrity family!
